Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about ordering, artwork, proofs and delivery. Can't find your answer? We're happy to help.

Ordering & proofs

How ordering works, from choosing a product to approving your proof.

How do I place an order?

Find your product on our Products page and click Buy now. You'll choose your size and options, add your artwork and check out — it only takes a few minutes.

Will I see a proof before anything is printed?

Yes. Every order comes with a free digital proof showing the size, layout and finish. Nothing is printed until you approve it.

Can I order a custom size?

Yes — everything is made to measure. If the size you need isn't listed, contact us and we'll quote it.

Do you take on bespoke projects?

Absolutely. Most of our work is made to order, so if you can't see exactly what you need, tell us the size, surface and deadline and we'll come back with a quote.

Artwork & files

What to send us and what happens if you don't have a print-ready file.

Do I need print-ready artwork?

No. Send whatever you have — a logo, a sketch or a photo — and we'll tell you what's needed and prepare it for your proof.

What file formats do you accept?

PDF, AI, EPS and SVG are ideal because they stay sharp at any size. PNG and JPG work too — we'll let you know if the resolution is too low for the size you've chosen.

Do you check my files before printing?

Yes. We check bleed, resolution, colour and cut paths before production — not after — so what arrives is exactly what you approved.

Help choosing the right board, vinyl or banner.

What's the difference between Foamex, Dibond and Correx?

Foamex is a rigid PVC foam board (3mm, 5mm or 10mm) — versatile for signs and displays.
Dibond is an aluminium composite that's extremely lightweight and durable, ideal for long-lasting signs indoors or out.
Correx is a cost-effective corrugated board, popular for site boards, estate agent signs and event signage.

Can signs be printed on both sides?

Yes. We offer double-sided Foamex, Dibond and Correx signs, plus estate agent boards made from two sheets of 4mm Correx back to back.

Which window vinyl should I choose?

Contravision shows your graphic outside while you can still see out. Polar Frost Air gives an etched-glass look for cut lettering, and Polar Frosted is for larger printed frosted panels. For something temporary, try SpotOn or ViziPrint Impress.

Do you sell fixings for signs?

Yes — stand-off locators for wall-mounted signs, ground spikes for Correx boards, and sign rails for fixing aluminium panels.

Delivery

Getting your order to you safely.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Yes. We print in Manchester and deliver UK-wide.

How long will my order take?

[YOUR TURNAROUND — e.g. most orders are dispatched within X working days of proof approval.]

How will my order be packed?

Every order is carefully packed and protected for the journey so it arrives ready to use.
